5000 hits! | an update from Emelie Electronic

Blar's right, this blog has come a long way. I'm here today to tell you about a few things.
  • New music
  • Camp Bisco VI - Music Festival in Schnectady NY
Let us start with Camp Bisco because it's the best thing to come to the Albany area in a LONG time. Camp Bisco is a 3 day music festival featuring tons of electronic and jam bands. BUT the best part is GIRL TALK is performing and that my friends, will be nuts. Other bands include:
  • Infected Mushroom
  • Shpongle
  • Bassnectar
  • Adam Deitch Project
  • The Juan Maclean
  • Telepath
  • Psylab
  • Orchard Lounge
  • and so many more!
I'm SCREAMING AT YOU that this cannot be missed. You have no idea how great this is for the electronic music loving community in the Capital region and beyond. Now of course I'm trying my hardest to get some FREE TICKETS for our listeners out there because you deserve them and I want you to be able to experience this greatness. I don't have any YET but trust me, I'm working on it. Feel free to hit me up at wrpiPINK@gmail.com for anything.

NEXT UP: New music
We have killer stuff right now. I'm talking new CHROMEO, DJ MAYONAISE, DIGITALISM, KRAAK & SMAAK, CHEMICAL BROTHERS, BONDE DE ROLE and MORE! Call in and request this new music and get it plaaayed! It's delightful, I promise. Chromeo will knock your socks off as you bust out into a dance party. COMING SOON: Billie Holiday remixes that are super chill and hotttt. Perfect for relaxing with your bf|gf.

Don't miss this!
-Emelie

Woo! Over 5000 hits!

Thanks to Troy and the Capital Region listeners for bringing this lil' ol' playlist blog to over 5000 hits. We started it way back at the beginning of October last year, and although the amount of posters has diminished (due to graduation/summer), we're glad that some of you still use it to look up your favorite shows playlists and use it (most importantly) for finding new music.

Lets keep it going, spread the word etc. etc...see you again at 10,000..keep it tuned to WRPI Troy
